OUR EXPERTISE

Comprehensive professional services, rooted in indigenous tradition

We advance wellbeing for the Pokagon Band, and honor its values and lifeways

Bodwé is the Professional Services Group of Mno-Bmadsen, the non-gaming economic development enterprise of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi. Mno-Bmadsen, which means “the good path,” was formed in 2012 from the Tribal mandate to diversify business interests, revenue streams, and wealth for future generations. Under Mno-Bmadsen, the companies of Bodwé work to better serve the Pokagon Band and its people, building up its resources for continued growth and sovereignty. Bodwé Group is comprised of Seven Generations Architecture + Engineering, WBK Engineering, The Steelhead Engineering Company, and Blue Star Integrative Studio.

Mitigating the built and natural environment

The Bodwé Infrastructure Services branch offers civil engineering, planning, and environmental consulting for municipal, federal, Indigenous, and transportation clients. We work as full-service, multi-disciplinary teams across the Bodwé family of companies and in partnership with our waterways and ecosystems.

Lighting a fire for current and future generations

Our mission is to benefit future generations of Pokagon citizens and with that long view in mind we choose the often-hard work of doing what’s meaningful and good. We choose it again and again to benefit wellness and missions and opportunities for people.
